2020 Mobile Clinics Sierra Leone 1: Karene District in Collaboration with Ministry of Health and Sanitation, Sierra Leone

Medical mission with mobile clinics in Sierra Leone in the new Karene district, northern province from 3rd to 16th April, 2020.
The AEMRN multidisciplinary and multinational team from UK, USA (Prof. Tom Kollars – AEMRN Consultant Epedimiologist and Vector Control specialist), Switzerland, Kenya (Dr. Kasembeli- Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecologist and AEMRN Consultant Kenya) Nigeria, Liberia etc. will join hands with our contemporary colleagues in Sierra Leone and will be based at the Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MOHS) supported Wesleyan Mission Hospital in Kamakwei and we hope to extend our services to Bombali and Port Loko districts.
Our appreciation to the MOHS for their unflinching logistical and other support as well as our various members and collaborators such as CORE, IOM, Sierra Medical and Dental Association (SLMDA), etc. We look forward to serving the people in those hard to reach communities very much in line with the goals of the United Nations SDGs including Health for All leading to Universal Health Coverage – We Leave No One Behind.
